## Enabling Javascript in Your Browser for Use with QScan

When you fire up QScan for the first time, you may see a message indicating that Javascript needs to be turned on to continue with your use of QScan. 

This guide will walk you through the steps to do so.

As we recommend Google Chrome as the preferred browser for QScan, this guide follows the steps for Google Chrome specifically, although the process should be similar for most browsers.
